Dreamwork for Erotic Living

with Aura Soleil

Sliding Scale: $20 - $35 | Register

Many indigenous cultures believe that dreams can incubate our goals, relay important information for our waking lives and provide the conditions to connect with one's ancestral and celestial guides.

Yoga philosophy asks us to view the waking state (or reality) as a dream from a detached, witness-like state of consciousness.

In "Uses of the Erotic," Audre Lorde shares, "the aim of each thing we do is to make our lives and the lives of our children (loved ones, communities, descendants, etc.) richer and more possible. Within the celebration of the erotic in all our endeavors, my work becomes a conscious decision - a longed for bed which I enter gratefully and from which I rise up empowered."

While some may speculate what happens between "gratefully entering a longed-for bed and rising up empowered," Dreamwork for Erotic Living pulls from these philosophies to explore that sensual and restorative space as a source of internal power and creative energy used to fuel, analyze and improve one's society (and life).

Participants will indulge in Cacao and Rose as heart opening medicine (optional), learn the basics of a fulfilling dream practice, and apply erotic wisdom to their dreams and goals. We close this session with a multi-instrument sound journey and Yoga Nidra, providing the aligned conditions for dreamers to rise and guide their desires into reality with clear perception and empowerment.

No experience necessary.
